It all started at 9:00 am, my son went to the store and bought the goods to make breakfast for his momma. With the best of intensions on his part, I took over and decided to help him cook. It was a lovely breakfast, full of maple sausage links, bacon, eggs, toast and cinnamon rolls. :) My daughter came home from her dad's at 4:00 pm and she had a lovely card for me. I am truely a sap… and so is she. She cries while reading the cards at the Hallmark store and always looks for the perfect card that says it all and will usually bring me to tears… she was successful. lol We all then went out to dinner at Brock's and I had a very good shrimp/pasta dish. My daughter had crabcakes, my son had the usual cheeseburger and my husband had a chicken dish. We all enjoyed the dinner and had a lot of laughs. I tried this new drink there called "Cream Soda", it was vanilla vodka and ginger ale. It was very very yummy. They (2) went down like water. Needless to say, when I got home, I was ready for bed. LOL I am truely blessed to have two wonderful children that love me so much and a husband that is patient and caring. :) My husband is on vacation this week. He's getting the car ready for the trip with a good washing, waxing and shining. We are leaving for North Carolina on Friday morning with the Camaro club. Heading down to "tail of the dragon" and staying at the Fontana Village Resort. We are going to share a 2 bedroom cabin with another couple that we are good friends with. The cabin has a full kitchen also. I haven't had a decent vacation in a while. I didn't get to enjoy my summer last year due to the foot injury and surgery last June. I'm going to make sure that this summer is the exception. Tomorrow is my "friday". I will be off work on Thursday to get ready for the trip, pack and go shopping.
