It has been a pretty quiet summer so far.  I’ve started a new semester and received my grades from my last semester (= to 12 weeks).  4.0 grade point average is pretty decent for an older college student.  Smile  I’m pretty proud of myself. Seven semesters to go.

My back still bothers me, doing the PT doesn’t seem to help much, but I am learning to live with it.  Kids are doing well, though my daughter is bored this summer.  She will be 16 next month and is hopeful to find a job.  She wants her own income and just to have something to do besides sit around the house all day long.  Poor girl, I wish I could sit around the house all day long.  Wink  My son is currently teaching her how to drive a manual transmission, so that when she gets her license, she can drive the Probe that we have sitting around.  She wants my Explorer or a pick up truck, but I can’t afford to get her a used one at this time. 

My husband and I will be celebrating our 8th year anniversary in early October.  I’ve been trying to find some place for us to go away to for the weekend.  Thinking Hershey Park, but not sure if we should do that or go to the beach for the long weekend.  Either way, I need to get my reservations in.
