Due to a lack of something to blog about, I thought I would tell you about my new Exploder.  I bought this a couple of weeks ago with my settlement money.  It’s a 2006 Explorer XLT 4×4.  Nothing fancy, no leather seats or anything, but at least it has power door locks and power windows.  I still love it.  It runs great, smooth with independent suspension in the rear.

We managed to pay off all of our car payments and other creditors.  It is a good feeling to only have to worry about paying utilities and other services and just the mortgage.  What a relief this is, that we will finally be able to save some money and actually go on a family vacation!  4 car payments GONE! 3 Loans GONE!  wow.  I feel good inside for once.  It’s been a long time that I carried a daily worry about making ends meet and paying bills.

I will be giving my older Exploder to my daughter for whe she gets her license, coming up in December.  Oh god help me.  haha  Nah, she’s a pretty good driver, I can’t complain.  But I know I will still worry myself sick about her out there on the roads by herself.
