my dear daughter.  You have grown so fast. It seems like only yesterday that I had you.  A small 7 lb 4 oz baby.  You had long skinny little legs, and brown hair with blonde tips that stood straight up.  You were colic and fussy.  Hated car rides, which I later figured was because you had motion sickness, as it never failed when you were 4 years old, you would puke in the car!  When you grew too big for your crib, we made a little "big girl" bed for you by using the spring frame and mattress from the crib and put legs under it.  But, you wouldn’t stay in that bed. No, you would get up and play with things like baby powder dumped into the fan in your room, or paint the cat with vasaline.  By that age, you were such a happy girl, even with chicken pox.  You had your older brother to entertain you and play with you, and that is what made you happiest of all.  You grew up fast and unfortunately, you had to.  Now here you are, a Senior this year.  You have a goals and dreams.  I know you will be sucessful in your life, as you have what it takes to get what you want and perservere through challenges.  You are independant, motivated and smart.  I love you and I am proud of who you have become.  You will always be my little girl.
